The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean watch collection was launched in 2005 and since then has been appealing to the masses with its feature-packed spec using high-end materials for deep-sea exploration. Equipped with a helium escape valve, a screwed caseback and a screw-in crown – this 45.5mm Omega Seamaster watch can promise a 600-meter water resistance. Its solidly built stainless steel case Features a domed scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass on the front side and a transparent exhibition caseback feature to admire the performance of an in-house calibre on the reverse. The Omega Master Chronometer calibre 9900 has passed the 8 rigorous tests set by METAS (The Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology) and offers a useful 60-hour power reserve. Surrounding a ceramised titanium dial with a small seconds counter and a date window is a vibrant orange ceramic unidirectional bezel ring with its diving scale filled with liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova. The hands on the dial are also lume-filled and combine with two sub-counters at 3 and 9 o’clock to create a technical-looking dial. These sub-counters offer a 12-hour totaliser and small seconds function. The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M watch is completed on a stainless steel bracelet with a patented extendable fold-over clasp and diver extension.
